Tire pressure gauge (tire pressure gauge) is a kind of pneumatic tire pressure gauge, it is composed of the head, piston, watch body, ruler, main spring, etc., there is only one air pressure measuring port on the head, the length of the main spring is 60-90mm, then middle diameter is Φ7-12mm, the pitch is 2.7-3.0mm, the diameter of the steel wire is Φ0.6-1.5mm,the angle between the center line of the air pressure measurement port and the axis of the watch body is 90°-180°, and the ruler is a tetragon, The range scale value is 0.07Wpa-0.4Wpa. The utility model has simple structure, small measuring range, high precision, easy to use, and is suitable for tire pressure measurement of small vehicles such as mini vehicles, motorcycles, etc. The tire pressure gauge adopts pressure sensing technology, which has high measurement accuracy (error less than 0.05%) and long service life. Using a tire pressure gauge to test tire pressure in time can enable drivers to know the tire pressure of their car's tires in time. The pointer type is simple to operate, the digital reading is convenient, and the alarm type does not show the tire pressure value. Each tire pressure gauge has a certain pressure measurement range, and the general household only needs 0-100 PSI.
How it works
Inside the main tube of the tire pressure gauge, there is a piston with a good seal, and the inside of the tube body is very smooth. The piston is located at one end of the rube body and the plug is located at the other end . A compression spring is used between the piston and the plug to push the piston towards the left-hand side of the tube.
When the tire pressure gauge is pressed against the valve stem, the pressurized air in the tire rushes into the gauge, pushing the piston to the right. The stroke of the piston then corresponds to the pressure in the tire. The pressurized aire pushes the piston to the right, and the spring pushes the piston back to the left. When the tire pressure gauge is released from the valve stem, the pressurized aire stops flowing in and the spring immediately pushes the piston back to the left side. The ballon the left side of the tire pressure gauge is concave. The opening of the ball is used to engage with the valve stem of the tire. If you look into the opening, you will see a rubber seal and a small fixing pin. Rubber seals are used to press the flange of the valve stem to prevent aire leakage during measurement. The fixing pin is used to depress the valve core in the valve stem to allow air to enter the tire pressure gauge. Air flows along the perimeter of the rixing needle, passes through the recessed part of the sphere, and then enters the piston chamber.
There is a calibration rod inside the tube body for taking pressure readings, and the calibration rod is located in the upper part of the piston, but is not connected to the piston, but to the plug. When the piston moves to the right, it pushes the calibration rod. When the pressure is released, the piston moves back to the left and the calibration rod stays at its maximum displacement, at which point the pressure reading can be taken.
How to use
1.Find a stable position to place the tire pressure gauge on the valve stem.
2.Press the tire pressure gauge tightly to seal it with the valve stem, and the aire will enter the tire pressure gauge from the tire. Note that the needle inside the barometer is aligned with the valve core inside the valve stem in order to release aire from the tire.
3.Read the pressure reading of the tire pressure gauge.
After frequent use, the tire pressure gauge may have inaccurate, failure of the zero return mechanism, and stuck reading devices. Through the automatic control of air source pressure and the alternating action of the automatic zero devices. the durability test of tire pressure gauge is fully automated, and the accuracy test can be directly detected, which is very reliable and convenient. This project provides technical guarantee for the accurate evaluation of the performance of tire pressure gauge [1]. In order to solve these problems in tirepressure gauges, Gemeo launched the new AireeheekAC2000 electronic tire pressure gauge, equipped with man-machine control and electronic instruments, which can improve tire pressure measurement and make tire pressure measurement more accurate. Not only is it easy to use, but it also has a feature that is not found in the current linear direct-reading barometers: the unique LDC display mounted on a scratch-resistant concave lens provides a direct and clear display of barometric pressure readings; The electronic pressure sensor used enables barometric pressure measurement to be accurate to 3.445 kPa and extends barometer life [2].
Notes
When using a tire pressure gauge, remind users to pay attention to the following aspects:
1.The vehicle needs to be parked on flat ground, and the tire pressure must be measured when the car is cold;
2.Remove the valve cap of the tire, align the pressure measuring nozzle of the tire pressure gauge with the valve on the tire and press it vertically. The speed of pressing in needs to be rapid so that it does not cause aire leakage inside the tire;
3.According to the tire pressure requirements on the door side, combined with the driver's experience, determine whether the tire pressure meets the requirements; If the tire pressure is too high, this tire pressure gauge can be used to deflate; If the tire pressure is too low, the on-board inflation pump should be used immediately to replenish the aire to the safe tire pressure, and the accurate tire pressure should be re-measured and checked;
4.Put the valve cap back;
5.Check the aire pressure of the tire at least once a month. Before you are not skilled in measuring tire pressure, you can take several tests to make sure the reading is correct;
